MOCK BATTLE FOR FLEET

Twenty-two warships of the Home Fleet will take part on Thursday and Fridav in the biggest eombined' exercises hehl since the war's end. Led by' the battloship Duke of York flying the flag of the Commander-in-Chief of the Ilome Fleet, Admiral Bir Neville Syfret, forces of "Red Land" will attempt to force the passage of the channel against tlied efending "blue Land" force eommanded by Yice Admiral Bir Prederick Dalrvmple Hamilton. This force will consist entirely of destroyers submarines and sliore based aircraft.
