UNITED NATIONS' INTEREST.
Received Tuesday, 7.0 p.m. NEW YORIv, June 23. The United Nations' secretary-gene-L ral, Mr. Lie, will go to Paris for the gBig Three conference on the Marshall |plan but it is not eertain whether he ; will be an observcr or participant in the discussions. However, Mr. Lie is clearly prepared to continue his vigorous battle to ensure that United Natirjiis machinery will be used to the greatest possible extent. A United Nations spokesmau today emphasised that United Nations was
not onlv willing but also fullv eapable of handling the Marshall plan.
