The Board of Trade is at present engaged in trying to decide whether more supplies shall he given for women 's fashions or for men's clothes. The makers of women 's clothes swant the next coupon period brought for ward from Novemher i to Septemher 1 "to save the autumn fashion trade." The men'S clothing trade say the supply of men's clothes is m an ' ' appalling condition, ' ' and are asking for as much extra time as possible to build" up stocks.
