NO INCREASE IN RATES
. • --T— - ' The rates to. be levied this year will remain at the lotal of 17 3/8d. in the £ on the unimproyed value. This was decided at a meeting of Ihe Otaki Borough Council this week, when the estimates were considered and adopted. The ihdmdual rates are as follows, all beiiig the same as for last year: General rate 7 5/8d> hospital rate Z 3/8d, street lighting rate 5/8d, library account rate 5/8d, Manawatu Catchmeht Board rate 3/8d, interest sewerage redemption loan rate 1 3 d and interest account conversion loans 4d, a total of 17 3/8d.
