SHANNON'S JUNE MEETING
Mrs. L. H. Best presided over a small attendance of members at the June meeting of the Shannon branch of the Women's Division, there being less business than usual to attend to. The holding of the branch's bbthciay party at Mrs. Best's residence on June 25 was discussed, and the entertainment ,a$fiahge-t ments were left in the hahds . of Mesdames Best and Guerin. Mrs.Guerin reported on the inter-; provincial meeting at Palmerston North, which she and ^Mrs. K. Thomson attended as delegates from the local branch. Ward and W. H. Roberts were appointed to take charge of the refreshment booth at the saleyards en-the - next sale day.
