WOMENS DIVISION

MOUTOA BRANCH MEETS ■ The June meeting of the Moutoa branch of the Women's Division of Federated Farmers was well attended, and was presided over by Mrs. S. W. Barber. Routine business was discussed and Mrs. T. Fuller reported on the Manawatu executive meeting. An interesting and instructive talk was given by the district nurse, Miss McDonald, on first aid and home nursing. Arrangements •.vei'e made for an evening sooial among division members, and to be held next week. The best bloom competition was won by Mrs. J. D. Campbell, with Mesdames Geo. Barber and Humphries equal for second place. Afternoon tea was served by the hostesses Mesdames L. Sanson, T. Fuller and G. Barber.
