PLANES BEAT THE WHARFIES

Because of the Australian waterside workers' ban 'on Dutch shipping, the Dutch Grovernment is using planes. to transfer an aireraft maintenance workshop from Brisbane to Batavia. Skymasters and Dakotas have already flown hundreds of tons of valuable equipment from Archerfield aerodrbme and all the equipment wili be in Batavia by "the end of July. The air serviee engaged in the project employs 86 Australians including pilots, engineei's and wireless operators.
