RELIEF OF J-FORCE
DUNEDIN, June 3. Details of the arrangemeuts which have been made for the seeond relief of the J Force Brigade to be shipped to Japan, and the present occupation force to be brought home to New Zealand were announced today by the Ministei of Dufence, Mr. Jones. An earlior announcement by the Minister stated tlial arrangeinents had been made for the transport Dunera to make two lifts from Japan and one from New Zealand to be completed by the end of Augsut. The Alinister stated that the Dunera would first call at Kure and would leave there probably next weelc, eurry ing lialf of the occupation force. The ship was expected to arrive in New Zealand about the eml of the month, The relief force would leave New Zealand during Ihe first week of July. It was expected that. the remainder of the occupation force would leave Kure in the first week in August and - would arrive in the Dominion about the niiddle of August. ,Mr. Jones empha sised that tliese arrungements might be subject to alteration according to any shipping delays that iniglit occur.
