COW DESTROYED FOLLOWING COLLISION WITH CAR
gtruck by a car near Manakau m the early hours of this morning a heifer, part of a hprd wandei'ing unattended on the main road, received injuries necessitafcing its destrucfion. The car, which was driven by Mr. A. S. Lewis, Oriental Bay, Wellington, was proceeding towards Wellington at the time of the accident. The irnpact eonsiderably damaged its headlights and bonnet.
