The degree of contr.ol of transport services in New Zealand was far better than in Australia, stated Mr. P, Skoglund, Nb, 2 Transport Licensing Authority, who returned by the Wahine today affer holding disQUSsions with transport authorVties in t'he eastern. stgtes of the Oommonwealth. Mr. Skoglund said that New Zealand appeared to be more pyosperous than Australia, particuiarly in regard to the farming community. He was astonished at the eonditiqns under' which a' number of Australian' farmers lived. ,
