Thirty-two members of the International Emergency Food Council today deeided to call a conference of the Ministers of Food anc Agriculture of member governments to plan a means of combatting the world food crisis during the next year. The Council appointed a sub-committee to decid> when and where the -conferenc. should be held. The Indian delegate, Mr. N. G. Abhyankar, warned the Counci that India was faeed with the possibility of its population rebellin; against the rationing system. "1 don't recollect any peiiod in Inhia as dangerous as the coming foui months," he said. "Vast starvatior is possible unless adequate allocations are granted and delivered before September."
