In a letter acknowledging the order, the Wellington motor firm advised that the work ' of making up the machine and fitting the pump and other equipment was cdmpleted, and the painting and signwriting was now under way. When the machine is ready, representatives of the fire brigade will visit Wellington and carry out an inspection of the engine before taking delivery.. It is expected that the machine will be in Shannon within the next week or so.
