RENOWN THEATRE
tuesday and wednesday A famous concert pianist (Margaret LockwOod) tries to join the W.A.A.F.S., but is turned down. At her hotel she meets Tom Walls, a bluff friendly mining engineer engaged on the re-opening of the Cornish mines. She also becomes attracted to a young, flippant, seemingly irresponsible man-, Kit (Stewart Grariger) , whom she finds prospecting for minerals on the cliffs. They begin to fall in love, but she is constantly perturbed by his embittered attitude to life and unnatural cynicism. Lissa grows fonder of him, but they quarrel when she tries to probe his past.
