Contributions of soap were asked for the June meeting. These parcels will be sent to the Anglican Vicar of Jarrow, North England, for distribution to aged, needy or sick persons in the parish, and so form a link with the Shannon parish as the local church known as Ven. Mrs. Leng-Ward undertook to run, a competition 'for the best article made from one sugar bag, all entries to be donated to the end of the year bazaar, and to be handed in before or at the next guild meeting -day, June 4.
