Boy Scout's Death

migus McPherson Norrie, who was recently the recipient of the Cornwell Scout decoration (the Scout V.C.), died on Saturday, after more than 15 months' illness. Scout Norrie was a member of the Britannia Sea Scout - Troop, Wellington, and had an accident in the swimming baths in January, 1946, which resulted in almost complete paralysis. i Although in great pain, he became known in the Wellington and Silverstream Hospitals for his great courage and endurance, and his consideration for the other patients and for the nurses. He was the second son of Mr. James Norrie, of the Prime Minister's Department.
