WOMEN'S DIVISION
OHAU BR^NCH IN SOUND POSITION The annual meeting of the Ohau' branch of the Women's Division of Federated Farmefs, was held recently in the Ohau Hall.. The annual report showed that the branch had earned the right to claim a busy and suceessful year, while the balance sheet disclosed a sound financial position. The -following officers were. elected for the coming year: — President: Mrs. J. Kilsby; vicepresidents : Mesdames Benning and Guerin; secretary: Mrs. C. Saint; treasurer: Mrs. W. .McLeavey; committee: Mesdames J. Kilsby, Benning, Guerin, C. Saint, W. McLeavey, Burt, Frew, Hudson and H. McLeavey; auditor: Mr. H. J. McLeavey. During the afternoon a much appreciated and entertaining talk was given by Mrs. R. Bennett, of Manakau. Members generously contributed to collections Of tinned foods for Britain and Clothes for CGRSG. The results of the various competitions were as follows: — Best floWer: Mrs. J. Guerin 1, Mrs. J. Eagle 2, Mrs. H. Dittmer 3. Jar of plum jam: Mrs. J. Kilsby 1, Mrs. S. C. Saint 2. Stationery competition: Mrs. R. Bennell. Afternoon tea was dispensed by the hostesses , Mesdames Crowe, Dome, Dittmer and Eagle.
