Work oh the fioating dock was resumed this morning, but the uncertainty has not ' vyet ended as although both thp unions and employers have agreed on a tribunai tO detertnine the special payments to shore wOrkers engaged On the Wanganella repairs, thefe .stiil exist difierences of opinion over the ternls of teference for the tribunai. . The unions want the tribunal to fconsider tWo sepatate issues-— special payments to the boilefihakets Whiie the liner was still on Batrett's Reef and additional payments fof work done whiie the ship is on the fioating dock. The employers hold that the secdnd eiaim is legitimate fof considefatinn by the tfibunal, but assert that the ouestion of special cPayments' for the time the Wanganella was on the reef is not a dispute. They claim that special nayments Were made then by agreement, and wefe accepted by the unionists.
