ance Cbmpany, Mr. N. H. Hunt: T, had the pieasure recently of bringihg before my board full details of the campaign to be co'ndtieted by the Junior Chambers. The directors were very impresSed by your programme, and asked ihe to convey to you their congratulationS upon ypur civic spirit in this particularly worthwhile project. This company is naturally keenly interested in all aspects of road safety ahd traffic education, and we shali be most happy to work in with you in any way possib'ie, "We are assisting each of the North Island Junior Chambers finahciaily, the entire vote beihg near to £250, and individual grahts being assessed proportionateiy. With pleaSUre herewith our cheque for 20 guineas, being the amoUnt allocated to your chamber to assist in your carrying out yOur part of the safety first campaigh." Following a meeting of the board of the Levin Junior Chamber, at which this letter was read, the secretary, '• Mr. G. H. Sorenson, wrote to the company expressing appreciation of its generoUs aSsistance to the campaign and tne hope that this lead would encourage others to help similarly. Should * other bodies, organisatioiis or citizens wish to make donations to help ih 'meeting the cost of the effort they may do so by forwarding them to the secretary of the Levin Junior Chamber, P.O. Box 53, Levin.
