The first innings rocovery after an unproniisiug start apparently gave them coniidenee and enabled them to hold a eoininanding position from that stage, dtsmissing the remaining Queenslanders for an addition of 25 runs. Today the tourists held ;i winning lead and when the openers put on 53 in the second innings, it became only a fjuestion of timo. Queensland needed 155 to win when tliey lugan their second innings but could lally only 73 in spite of a deterniined stand by tiie captain, McLean. Fulford was the principal destroyer.
