WELLINGTON, March 31. An urgcnt meeting of the Hides Committee this morning decided that in view of the fall in market prices overseas not to enforce tlje increase of l£d per pound on all hides exported, which was to have come into operation tomorrow. The committee said it regretted the sUdden change, but emphasised that in view of overseas conditions alterations at short notice hiight become increasingly necessary in the near future.
