AUClvDAXD, March 19. A partv of 13 arinv personnel returning after service with the J Force arrived by flyingboat from Sydney.' Some of the men were repatriated on compassionate grounds, but the majoritv had flnished their tour of service in Japan and have been waiting transport at Sydney after having travelled to Australia by boat and aircraft. The draft was met by offieers of the Nortb ern Military District Headquarters and the men were either taken to thoir honies or a transit camp by army transport. Major Iv. I. Armour ivas in charge of the party. The members of draft were: MajoiK. I. Armour (Christchurch), Padre R. R. Clark (Cambridge), Sergeants N. S. .Henderson (Wellington), ,T. E. Penlcetli (Palmerston Nortli), M. Murpliy (Waipukurau) ; Corporal J. P. McMahon (Auckland); Drivers G. IMcEweii (Palmerston North), A. R. Sayers (Christchurch); Gunner A. J. Newman (Kakahi); Privates H. E. Benneti' (Inglewood), W. C. Miles, C. Seott (Wellington) and B. Wallace (Whangarei).
