Australia 's leading jockey, Darby Munro, has received a five-tigure- offier, the biggest ever made to an Australian, to ride for the Gaelcwar of Baroda in India and France., Munro declined because of his inability to contract to make the required weight (8.7), but there is every possibility that the Gaek war will try again to seeure him Munro - said today that he could contract to ride at 8.10 or probably a little lighter, and expressed the hope that in the near future he would be able to achieve his ambition 'to ride in England.
