Two hundred and tweuty-fLve guests fied from the Colonial Hotel, York (Pennsylvania), when lire swept • the building, causing damage estiinated at 500,000 dollars. Scores of guests fled from the 15storey Sheraton Hotel, Philadelphia, when fire damaged the ninth floor. It was the fifth fire in this hotel since November. Three men who did not flee died when fire burned down a boarding-house in hulianapolis.
