He was taken to Taumarunui Hospital, "where his lower jaw was found to be sniashed. | The bullet narrowly -missed tearing i fhe jugular veiu. An ojieration was perfornied'successfully, but the hospital uuthorities said the ehild 's condition was likcly to cauae anxiety for several days.
