EXHIBITS AT SHOW

WOMEN'S INSTITUTE COMPLAINS The exhibiting of the same article year after year in the same ciass in the home industries section of the Horowhenua A.' and P. Association ;s shows was a matter for complaint at last night's meeting of the association 's general committee. A letter regarding this subject was received from the Koputaroa Women's Institute, in which the institute lodged a complaint that articles had been exhibited year after year in the needlework class of the home industries section. Supporting this complaint, Mr. R. W. Evans said that it was "a serious matter and unless sometning was done it would more than likely spread to other sections as well. There was a clauss in the schedule which pointed out that an article awarded a first prize could not again be exhibited in that class. There was nothing to prevent it being entered in another class. The matter was. referred to the ladies' committee to make a report to the association's general committee for consideration.
