Received Tuesday, 7 p.m. NEW YORK, March 3. A storm lashed the north-eastern portion of the United States and the shipping along the Atlantic coast. The death roll thus far in the United States is 15 and in Canada 10. Ottawa had 27 inches of snow in the worst storm for 40 years. Canton, in upper New York state, reported 39 inches of snow.
