DUTCH CONFISCATE CARGO OF U.S. SHIP

Received Wednesday, 10.55 a.m. BATAVIA, March 4. The Dutch authorities have conflscated cargo of the American ship Martin Behrman reported to be worth several million dollars. The ship moved from Cheribon Harbour on March 2 to Priok Harbour with ten Dutch marines aboard. and was escorted by a Dutch warship. The Martin Behrman entered Cheribon without a Dutch permit, but with the sanction of '■ Indonesian Reoublic, 'and loaded a rich cargo, including rubber, sugar and cinchona.
