1927 RECRUITS FOR J FORCE VOLUNTEER
WELLINGTON, Feb. 28. Preliniinary plans are being made for the entry of J-Force recruits to mobiiisation camps, states Ariny Head^i quarlers. Up tiil 9 o'elock this morn- j ing 1927 m on had volunteered. AU the! available eligible recruits will be 'call- I ed inLo cainp on Marc-h 12. Notices toi enter camp will oe lssued shortly toi volunteers who passed , the medieal | boards and recruits are asked not toi give up their civiiian einyloyment be- ! fore receiving these notices. Initialiy Papakura and Burnham military camps will be used. All the North- Island recruits and all the -YLaori recruits will enter Papakura and all the South Island recruits will go to Burnham. Warraut o'fficers and! n.c.o. 's who pmviously served in the j Secotid N.Z.L.F. will go to camp with a temjiorary rank equivalent to the substnntive rank held in • the Seeoud N.Z.E.F. Substantive rank will be granted iinally subject to efficiency and to the required establishments: Otlier promotions will be made from personnel without overseas experience as the noi iual administration and organisation demaiuls. • " Af'ter the iuitial entry ou Mareh 12 drafts will enter camps weekly as the recruits becoiue available.
