Engagement Honoured
A cheery little party was hostessed by Mr. and Mrs. H. O. Manz at their home in Racecourse Road !ast Saturday evening to cclebra.te the engagement of their elder daughter, Isobel, to Mr. Edwin Marshall. The- toast of the guests of the evening was proposed by Mr. Frank Larsen, Levin, and all present joined in wishing th? .happv couple alll the best for the future. Among those present were FlightLieutenant and Mrs. J. W. Pontejract, of Huddersfield, England, cousins of -Miss Manz who are at present enjoying a furlough in New Zealand. Durihg the evening best wishes were extended to Mr. Frank Larsen who celebrated his birthday on the same day.
