. Received Tuesday, 9.35 a.m. ALASKA, Feb. 24. Three Army planes, one towing a glider and one fitted with skis, raced across the top of the world today to join in the rescue of the eleven marooned fliers whose Superfortress crashed on February 21, 600 miles from the North Pole, When it became lost and exhausted its fuel. A search plane has already dropped food to the men who are freezing but apparently uninj ured.
