Received Tuesday, 9.35 a.m. LONDON, Feb. 24. The Court which sat at Huremberg found von Papen guilty as "a ftiajor offender" who helped Hitler to power and was associated with the regime until the end. The Court ordered von Papen to forfeit his personal - fortune and forbade him to engage in a public profession for fifteen years or engage in any political aCtivity. The Court took von Papen's age into consideration and ordered him to be given special work in a labour camp suited to his physical capacity. The 17 months served as a prisoner of the International Military Tribunal would be deducted from the sentence. Von Papen's large personal fortune includes estates in the French and British zones. He will be allowed to keep only £125 sterling. Dapper and smiling when he entered the Court to hear the sen-' tence, von Papen flushed and trembled when President Camille Sachs gave the verdict, but maintained tight-lipped silence.
