■ w The jubilee celebrations in connection with the Otaki Methodist Church promise. to be verir successful, and quite a' number of ministers and other Methodists who have lived in Otaki pyer the years will be present. - The./Rev. W. , G. Slade, M.A., now president of the Methodist Conference, will be in Otaki on March 1 and 2, and will ' attend his first public official mrlefinp• rrom conferenee. Mr. Slade is wellknown locally, having been sta'ioned here at one time. The Rev. C. T.' Symons, M.A.. B.D., senior youth director of the New Zealand' Methodist Church will taks part jn the youth rally: and will be th'e guest speaker. The Rev. Moses Ayrton. aso a former minister of the Otaki circuit, will conduct the service at Te Horo on Sunday. March 2, while he Rev. W. A. Burley. M.A.. expresident of the Methodist Conferance and now chairman of the Wel'mgton District Methodist Church will also attend the celebrations. ; It is also exoected that Mr. and i Mrs. Harold Cockrell, late of Otaki 1 "VEr. and Mrs. W. .Clark, also wellknown locallv, and the Rev.
