R.S.A. TOURNAMENT

The most .successful annual R.S.A. bowling tournament ever field in Levin took place during the weekend. Games were played throughout the day on both the Levin and Central greens. Bowlers representing - ten different rinks were present and keen rivalry between the players was evident. The final between a Shannon rink consisting of Bovis, Bateman, Hemmingson. and R. Hook (s) , and a Christchurch four of Harris, Seymour, Whyte, and Spearman (s) was played on the Levin green and resulted in a win for Hbok's rink by the close margin of seven points to six. Hook's rink also won the tournament in 1945. *
