At a nieeting of the Enginedrivers, Firemen 's and Cleaners' Association today, the followirig resolution was cart'ied: ''That rhe Dunedin branch of the Enginedrivers', Firemen's and . Cleun I ers ' Association, eniphaticailv protests against the running of picnic trains on Sundays. Long and arduous hours are still being worked by locoinen after «ix years of staft' shortage. The aniount of Suiulay work for transport of stock and perishable goods is already heavv. \Ve therefore strongly assert that, all Sunday trains for pienics or pleasure irips be entirely banned. "
