THIRSTY MINERS COME UP
Received Thursday, 10.30' p.m. SYDXEY, Feb. 6. Thirty miners emerged happily froni the mine at Curlewls near Gunnedah, after spending three days undergrouinl as a protest against laelt of equipment. The men were fed on delicacies, even turkey and geese, and liad plenty of tobacco, but no alcohol. When a settlement was reached the strikers led a rush for the nearest hotel.
