RAINFALL AT OTAKI
The rainfall at Otaki durir.g -January last, as recorded by Mr. F. H. Critchley, showed a total fall of2.64 inches. The highest fall was , 1.68 inches on January 10. Rain I'ell on eight days. It was cairn at , 9 a.m. on 18 days. There were eool temperatures during the first half of the month, but then good summer weather prevailed. For January last year the total 'all was much heavier, being 3.43 inches with fifteen rain days.
