RIVERBOAT BECOMES FUNERAL PYRE
Received Tuesday, 9,45 p.m. HONG'KONG, Feb. 4. Shortly before a 2000-ton riverboat was scheduled to leave Hong Kong for Canton, ffre broke put in a cargo of oil and kerosene. Elames quickly envelopod the vessel, killing at least 1QD including many passengers 'vyho were trapped and smothei'ed below deek where the . portholes and passage ways were barred as a precaution againsl pirates.
