FRIDAY AND SATURDAY The technicolour in "The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp," which comes to the Renown Theatre on Friday, is one of the film's most important features, for besides adding to the beauty of the picture it figures importantly in the story. The opening episode of the film deals with the colourful days of the Boer War, when the uniforms of the British Army were still gay with scarlets and blues and gold'.
