Charge of Mttrder Against Two Boys

AUCKLAND, Jaii. 19. Following the death of a young t'aruier at Taumarunui liospitaJ shortly after raidday ou Saturday two boys, oue of whom is 1G and the other 14, will appear in the Poliee Court at Auckland tomorrow on a charge of murderiug Raymond Douglas Brinkman at Te Whakarae 011 January 12. They are Cyril Pascoe and Jaiuea Freclerick Dodd. Mr. Brinkman, who had beeu shot in the stomacli with, a peariflc, was found lying 011 the side of the road near has fatlier 's farm property at Te Whakarae, a few miles from Taumarunui, where he worked. He was aged 22 and was the elder' son of Mr. Harry Brinkman, of Taumarunui. Admitted to hospital on January 12 in a serious condition he died on Saturday. About two hours after Brinkman was found on the roadside Detective Cromwell arrested two boys as they were walking toward Ohura along the road about five miles from the farm. They are alleged to have eseaped from the Owairaka boys' home.
