• Reeeived. -Tuesdav, 11.55 p.m. 'Tlie inter-State shippibg disjfute which has resulted in twelve ships being held up in Sydney has now been isolated to apply only to the Xew Zealand barque Pamir. Thc strike began last Wednesday when 26 anen unloading the Pamir walked off the job because their demand for extra labour was not met. The president of the Sydney branch of the Waterside Workers Federation (Mr. W. Coghlati) did not disclose the terms of the settlement, but said the settlement was a tcmporary measure. All members of the Federation who were idle were asked to report for work 'tomorrow and to accept ivork 011 all ships other than the Pamir. Investigation into the working of the Pamir wonld be made by tlie port committee.
