The straighl-out troLLer, Believe Me, has been sold by Miss J. Cuif to Mr. J. Craig, of Timaru, for 2000 guineas, a reeord price for a trotter in the Dominion. Believe Me will be trained in future by P. P. Gallagher. -Believe Me is by C^uite Sure, 2/I|, from Biddy Parrish, 2.8 3-5. Biddy Parrisli was bouglit by Miss Cuff for £25 when the general belief was tliat this inare would not breed. To (^uite Sure slie has produced six live foals.
