SCHOOL FOR APPRENTICES
A school for apprentice jockeys is being licld this week at Mr. H. B. Lorigan's stables, Trentham, under the auspices of Ihe Wellington district committee of the Racing Conference. The school is being held from 1.30 p.m. to 3 p.ni. daily, and commenced yesterday. The daily schedule is as follows:^-1 Today: Control of the horse, riding work, race riding, gear, etc. Tomorrow: Tlic-auatomy of thc liorsc. Thursday: General. Friday: Addrcss by Mr. B. N. fSandilands, stipcndiary steward.
