DRAPERY STORE ENTERED
Value of Stolen Goods SaidTo Exceed £109 For the second time within a few months, the premises of Messrs W. M. Clark, Ltd., Levin, were broken into last night and a quantity of merchandise removed. The total value of the articles stolen was unobtainable this morning, but it is estimated that the amount will exceed' £100. The burglary was discovered by Mr. E. W. Clark on his arrival at the shop this morning. He notified the police immediately. The main door had apparently been forced and a quantity of clothing ahd other articles removed from the men's department. It appears that the intruder confined his activities to this portion of the shop. Among the articles removed were two suit cases which had been stolen on a previous' oecasion and hadf together with o'ther articles, been returned by the police only yesterday. An unsuceessful attempt was ajso made to enter the premises of Maclean and Chapman, booksellers, Oxford Street.
