ONE SITUATED AT IHAKARA Four more fanns in the Wellington ' Land District are soon to be baljoted for " among ex-'servicemen-of the recent ,!war who have been ^raded in categqry A for. the type of' farmiri'g 'ahd ' district in whibh* the far'ms are located. On all four sections the successful men will first ■ be employed for a period pn development work, after which they Will be given the option of a title. One sectiqn, suitable for sheep farming, is in the Masterton distjrict; another, a mixed sheep and dairy farm, is in the Horowhenua district; while two, both f.or sheep farming, are in the Rangitikei district. The last two are part of the Pakihukura farm settlement, 14 miles from Hunterville; the Horowhenua section is part of the Ihakara settlement, three miles east of Levin; and the Wairarapa farm is in the Te Maipa settlement near Masterton.
