LADIES HOLD "MUM AND DAD" DAY ON GREEN

The holidays and unfavourable weather curtailed activities on th.e Levin Ladies' Bowling Ciub's green until Wednesday last, when the annual "Mum and Dad" day was. held. Forty players took part-in the competition, which resulted in a win for a rink consisting of Mes.dames Lett and Bagrie and Mes.srs. Webb and Lett (s) with 3.0 points. Second place went t.o Messrs, Scott and Gibson and Mesdames Stevens and Gibson (s) with 29 poipts. At a rinks tournament to be held at Wanganui on January 21, 22 and 23, the Levin Ladies' Club will be represented by Mesdames McKinstry, Forster, Lacey and W. Mudgway (s)."
