Received Fridav 9.50 p.m. SYDNEY, Jan. 10. The dispute over the uuloading of; timber from the barquc Pamir was extended further today, bringing the total number of wharf lahourers rcl'using to work to more than 1200. At a meeting of the port committee the watersiders remained firtn on their deniand for an increase from six to eight men in the ship's hold and a deadlock resulted. Aliout 7000 men were ealled but none would except, leaving t'our interstate ships without labour and a number of others without night labour. Among the ships unahi e to unload was oue with a eargo of Tasmanian poiatoes.
