BRITISH N.C.O.'S CHARGED
CONSPIRED TO CAUSE MUTINY Received Tuesday, 11.40 a.m. LONDON, Dec. 30. Three British Army non-com-missioned officers have been charged before a couri-martial with conspiring to cause a mutiny, reports the Assoeiated Press' Cairo eorrespondent. ■ - They were alleged by the prosecution to have participated in meetings protesting against the demobili§ation rate and calling for a strike among the docks operating company at Port Said on November 11. They also proposed that the soldiers establish picket lines to enforce the strike. Only five per cent of the company arrived for duty on November 11. The defendants are Acting Corporals B. Atherton and J. G. Saunders and Acting Lance-Corporal W. G. Standard. All pleaded not guilty.
