ANTARCTIC DEVELOPMENTS Received Atondav, 7.5 p.m. ' • KEW YORK, Dec. 29. The New York Times' correspondent aboard the Byrd expedition flagship Alount Olympus, said international complications of the United States Navy's Antarctic developments projcct, were highlighted yesterday wlien news was received that the British refused to vacate Arnerican buildings 011 Marguerite Bay. An Arnerican seientific expedition led by a retired United States naval commander, Mr. Finn Ronne, is scheduled to leave for that area in a few weeks. Its plans were predicted on nsing the facilities now in British! handa. ' The United States navy has already asked correspondents not to give tlie exaet geographical position of the east and west groups of its own (Byrd's) expedition working around the Antarctic. The restrictions do not ajrply to ships headed for Littlo America but snly those skirtihg slices of Antarctica elaimed by Britain, New Zealand, Australia, France, Chile, Argentina and Xorway. The news of the British stand on Marguerile Bay eonfliets with a message from the North Arnerican newspaper Alliance cabled on December 22 that the British had agreod to move out, tf the Arnerican buildings at Marguerte Bay to make way for the Finn Ronne jxpedition, ' , ,
