DUNEDIN, Dec. 29. Knocked down by a motor vehicle, the driver of which did not stop after tlie accident, Stephen Harrington, aged 84, who lived at Pine Hill, Dunedin, was found lying deeply unconscious at the intersection of Princess Street and Manor Place, at 10 p.m. on Saturday. Both legs were broken and he had also received severe head injurics from which he died as he was admitted to hospital. The "driver of the vehicle has not yet been found.
