ASHBURTON, Dec. 29. A young man was killed and a girl" and elderly woman were seriously injured in a collisioji between a car and inotor cycle near Wakanui yesterday aftemoon. The victims were: Killed Arthur Lloyd Tavlor, aged 25, student of Canterbury College, son of XI r. and Mrs. T. S. Taylor, of Wakanui, who was the rid'er of the inotor cycle. He suffored a broken neck iind died instantly. Injured Miss Dorothy Copland, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Copland, Dromore, who was riiling pillon on the motor cycle. Mrs. Ross, aged 83, a passenger in ihe car. Botli were admitted to hospital in a serious condition. The car was driven by Mrs. R. Ivennedy, of Ashburton, daughter of Mrs. Ross. XJrs. Kennedy was unhurt.
